if you knew more about INXS and their music you would know that J.D. is the right person for the job. Marty might be working harder than J.D but I think that he has a lot of work to do before he can stand next to J.D. and perform and sing( not scream) like him.

Marty, you are a great man but just not right for INXS, and you know it. I think your style just doesnt match INXS. I am sure you can have a great career with in some other band but not with my INXS.

My husband and I have been watching almost since the beginning of the show. We have been rooting for Marty since the first one we saw. We flailed around our livingroom like idiots dancing with glee the very first time he sang "Trees". That song is AWESOME and so creative! I can't wait to hear it on an official album from Marty alone or Marty w/ INXS. We definitely think Marty has enough of his own stage presence and talent to go solo but if INXS picks him INXS will gain popularity because of Marty. Rock ON MARTY!!!!!

Congrats! It's been awesome to watch you grow over the past couple of months. You add just the right dynamic to INXS that they need, and hope like hell you win. Even if you dont, youve got the talent and skills that will skyrocket you into stardom you havent experienced yet. Im very proud to be a Marty fan, and hope to hear great music from you in the future.

Marty, you will be the next singer of INXS but I am not sure if that is a good or bad thing LOL!! I have been watching you , man, and you have more to offer than what INXS can take; I really think they feel "threatened" by your intensity and knowledge - I really do. I will be in Chicago tomorrow night trying to find a "MARTY PARTY" (pardon the pun) and cheer you on!! You are the only won in this competition that is in a win-win situation--you already have shown the world your talent and ability and we know the Lovehammers are a tight band because I have heard your music with them. You come across as someone who surrounds himself with winners so I am pretty sure the band can only benefit from this whole thing should you not win. I haven't missed a show, I hate to see this end tomorrow night but I am ready for INXS to return. They have been gone for to long now.
The final three and what I believe:
JD - a fake, lazy but not a bad performer. Started like a fire with his version of Calf. Dreaming and then hid behind a lot of worst performances for the next 5 or 6 weeks. Should have been gone the night Ty was let go or even before then. Has come on strong lately, but this is not a shock to me at all, he hasn't worked at it as hard as the others, he has rested. His first time in the studio with INXS should have showed them what to expect in the future and then last night he was unprepared again. He has showed he is unwilling to do the work that it takes. I believe he has lied to make himself look better then he makes himself look when he does tell the truth. He has been unwilling to work with others and just looks and acts like he is in it for himself only. What a joke to read his comment about what he was going to do with the car, no way folks, this car will be his new home when this is over. If INXS is fooled by this fool, they will run him off before the album is complete and you may never hear from him again.

MiG - great talent, great on stage, great voice and great range. And you seem like a great guy also. Sorry MiG, no experience fronting a band. But if it is you, I will still be thrilled and I will catch you when you are close enough to my town. I beleive that you could handle it and I beleive you would do a great job, but your one problem is you are up against Marty Casey here.

Marty - man ol man, Marty. You have all alone turned me on to Radiohead, the Foo Fighters, Lovehammer (great band and music, I hate to see you leave them) I dusted off my old Pink Floyd and hell I have even downloaded a Britney Spears song here (but not by her). I must admit that I love rock and roll, I have been a fan of it for 42 years now (yes, I am 50) and at first I didn't think you would be a good fit because you seemed so good at what you were doing before you started here. But you seem to want this, you work harder then any of the others, you are experienced playing to larger crowds (I mean come on folks, how many people watch a Elvis impersonater show in Vegas at one time) and you seem to be able to adapt and give INXS what they want. You do this with a smile and I just beleive that if you polled everyone that was in that house on who was the one person you could trust, the easiest to be around, the one that they felt they could trust the most, you would be the highest vote getter of every catergory above. Only one bottom three in ten weeks, you were sent right back to the others after you sang the one INXS song that you did perform and as of today, your 11 songs that you have performed on the show are all in the top 25 songs that have been downloaded on msn.com. Hands
down, Marty should win this and if he doesn't, I will become the biggest fan of the Lovehammers and wait and watch as they rise to the top of the music industry.

at the risk of sounding repetitive, i knew from week 1 that you were my favourite. but whether you win or not is irrelevant. i will listen to your music with INSX or the Lovehammers just to hear your voice. my 5 year old daughter is an avid fan who asks me every day to play some "Marty music" and thinks you are "so cute". she hopes you win the competition. i think you have already won regardless of the INXS decision. Marty - Best all around artist. Versitility, great writing, various voice range, intense, professional, awesome stage presence and character. Perfect for INXS.

MiG - Nice guy. Very theatrical. So-so. Can't bring you into his music. Not slaming the guy, just isn't dynamic enough.

JD - Talented, yet too full of himself. Kisses butt too much. I like Elvis, but not an Elvis impersonator trying out for INXS. Voice inflection seems to be the same every song. Just an opinion.

Also wanted to share:
I sang "Trees" to the four boys I babysit for just once, and later the nine-year-old (into guitar and drums) was absently singing it while playing video games. Thought that was a true mark of a hit.

You are such an amazing singer I think you have everything it takes to make it on your own and although I do love INXS, I truly think you'd be better off without them. I've d/l all of your songs, and constantly find myself belting out trees everywhere I go. Please do everyone a huge favour and put out your own record!!!!:D

Don't really care for the arrangement of the show. I'd prefer a 2 person shoot-out, each singing the same INXS song with the band themselves. Even doing 2 or 3 songs with them, and seeing who fits best.

I have got to rant about this Mig Enigma. What is going on with this?? Why he is still there is beyond me, everyone around here assumes it's because of his Aussie/Brit background. I have cringed, I have muted my tv, his voice is pure crap. Ok, I've let that out, moving on.

This is without a doubt a WIN WIN for you. You've gained alot vocally, to find things in your voice you've never heard has got to be unreal. You've grown, it's all there now, lower, upper and middle. And you SOUND GREAT!!!

'Course I was wowed in the first show, it's just awesome to now be able to sing in "places" that you maybe weren't all that comfortable with before. It's all good now.

To be with the band or not? Puts me in a real stew. Here is "The One Thing" for me: I don't want you to feel controlled vocally. As in holding back. You seem to be happiest when you are letting it rip. What they call screaming. And WE LOVE IT TOO MARTY!!!!!!!! Just don't want ya to be quelled babe.

Should you not be picked, I will not be upset. You had lots of fans coming into this ... now you have millions. And I will go as far to say that you and your band will far outsell the new INXS.

As long as I can buy a cd with you singing on it, I'll be damn happy!!!!

Mig's Choice and Marty's Game:

I am such a huge fan of your's, Marty! I love "Trees" and hope to hear it on the radio soon, either with INXS or w/out.

Just wanted to comment on your perfect strategy where Mig is concerned, not that one is needed when up against a poser like him. When he chose Bohemian Rhapsody I laughed my butt off. I used to like him, but he's made himself into sort of a farse. I totally agreed with your comments about it in the interview during last night's VH1 show. Then I noticed how encouraging you were to him to keep it as his choice, and I thought, "This guy is really smart."

Keep up the good work. Looking forward to "Wish You Were Here," since I missed it last time. Love you, your voice, your unique style and talent--everything! You're also really attractive w/out trying too hard like the other guys. You're the best!

I have been pulling for you I started watching the program (about wk 3). You have a beautiful voice and a great presence on stage.

Being a mother and a grandmother, I am also glad to read your bio and know that you are a very well educated young man who knows what he wants out of life then goes after it.

I wrote before and asked you to be a friend to MiG and not let him undo himself in the final but you didn't tell him like you did the camera that to do "Bohemian Rhapsody" would be suicide. But I guess your competitive side came out. If you win it is ok but I wish you had been more honest. TN fan
