The night before the elimination show a majority of us that were left went down to the gazebo by the basketball court to watch the sunset. We all had a glass of red wine and had some light conversation that made us laugh and forget the big day that was coming. Jessica came down with us and hung out for a while and took some photos. After the sunset experience we came back up to the house and watched a movie. I bailed part way into the movie and went to bed.

Elimination day:

I sported a crazy Sci-Fi futuristic outfit. I wanted to lighten the usual ultra-serious mode of rehearsals. When the elimination show started I felt confident that if I had to do one of the three INXS songs I was going to do them pretty well. I had a strange feeling I was gonna be in the bottom three because I had no idea what people would think of a rocked up version of a Britney Spears tune.

Jessica, Deanna and Suzie were called into the bottom three. I was once again surprised to see Suzie in the bottom three. The three girls absolutely rocked their songs. It was a hard decision for INXS this week and Jessica got called out.

I am continuously impressed with MiG's generosity. He got asked to do the encore this week and he asked Jordis and I to accompany him with background. It was really crazy having to do it on the fly when Jordis and I didn't really even know the words or the arrangement. It is one of the most memorable moments of my time here so far. We are all really lucky to have met MiG and gotten to spend so much time with him.

I mean no offense, but let’s not forget that it was the other housemates (marty and jordis) that refused to include some of J.D.’s lyrics and song arrangement. That can easily be misconstrued as trying to undermine through a passive-aggressive maneuver to sabotage J.D.’s efforts of working harder to create the best song to rock the socks off of INXS. All the while knowing he is definitely one to speak his mind. I rather have honesty versus someone saying one thing and believing another or backstabbing, anytime. Be fair. Let’s support our fav rockstar versus bashing the other guy. Everyone on the show are great rockstars already, all of them have enormous talent, all will definitely have major careers ahead, and all have their good and bad points. Peace to all. Aug. 22
