Hey Marty, I just wanted to congradulate you on your beautiful song that you performed tonight called: " Trees!" I really liked that song so much that I can't get it out of my mind brother! And I was wanting to know if there would be anyway that you might be able to send me that song on a CD? I would be glad to pay you for it. I do not know how to get the song in good quality. I have watched the show ever since the beginning and I am so glad for the show, the band, and each and everyone of you for your hard work and everyone's awesome tallents! Marty, so far you've managed to carry off everything they've put in your hands. It's been an impressive tally, especially your reworking of Britney Spears's annoying pop hit. My top vote would have been for an iconic song not on the list: Jimi Hendrix's "Little Wing." Since I haven't that choice, it goes to "Everlong" because I believe you could hit it out of the park whether you sang it straight or reworked it. I'd actually like to see the latter--to find out just how you would arrange and interpret it.

I'm a long-time INXS fan, Marty. Twenty years. In other, famous words, please please please let me get what I want! And that would be you as their singer! Sing it now--"Welcome to the Marrrrrtay Parrrrty baaabee...!" (all the other INXSaries should get that one right away!)

Well Marty, after Pink Floyd I don't know what to say. You are an awesome singer, the Live song was the tops. If there was a song I would like you to sing it would be "So Far Away" by Staind. I think you are a great today singer and have a sound that is right up there with Pearl Jam, Live, Creed, Nirvana etc. I think it would be crazy for INXS to let you go as you have a lot to offer. I have always been an INXS fan but they need to move forward with the times or be lost in the past.

I would love to hear Marty sing "The Freshmen" by Verve Pipe from their villains album, I think the song would be perfect for his voice.

I am not very good at these web chats, Blogs ect. but I needed to at least try to contact INXS anyway I could. My name is Tim and I live in New Jersey. My Husband Cliff and I
were together for 16 years. 3 years ago I became very Ill and after 2 years of living hell
I was diagnosed as having a rare but common disease called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy also known as RSD/CRPS. Well Cliff has been helping me through this very hard time in my life and has shown how much he loves me. WORDS COULD NOT EXPLAIN. Then 2 years ago he hurt his back in work and together we have been pulling each other thru. In October of 2004 I had a heart attack and Cliff was devastated but pulled me thru and promised never to leave my side. Well to make a long story short. Cliff had to have back surgery last March 2005. It was supposed to be a normal procedure so we were told. Cliff bled to death in the recovery room. It’s been 5 months since that horrible night and it has been so hard to reach down deep inside to get the strength that Cliff was able to pull out of me to go on. Now I am facing losing my home and with so many obstacles in my life it gets harder with every day, hour and minute with out him. The hardest part was losing Cliff my Husband, soul mate and caregiver and not having him beside me to help me through that worst day of my life. He was and still is my everything. The reason I am contacting you is to ask for a special request. I had the pleasure to see Marty perform “I Alone” which in my opinion was the best that I have seen anyone perform. Anyone! Even though it was hard to see through all of my tears as he performed I Alone, Marty’s silent intensity and inspiring will to succeed made it so real to me. The beauty and strength in Marty’s voice still echoes in my ears. He brought a power to that and every song that is rare and somewhat untamed and gave me the strength that only one gets from reaching deep inside. It was a very personal moment for me, if you could PLEASE ask Marty to perform it again in the memory of my husband Cliff. I would so love to hear and see him perform it again. If not, could it be possible to get a copy of it on DVD? Thank you for reading this letter. I wish INXS Luck on picking the right person for their band. You’re going to need it because everyone is awesome.
